Chairman, Jamie Bennett announces additions to it's Executive Board at Eastwood CFC...

Eastwood CFC have been working hard behind the scenes to bring a group of people together to steer the Football Club as a whole in the right direction over the next 5 years.

We are delighted to announce that Alan Ure will join the club as Vice Chairman, the club have also appointed Andrew Eastwood, Carol Eastwood and David Lilley to the executive board.

These four people will add great value to the club and each have specific skill sets to aid the club in it's ambitious plans over future years.

Chairman, Jamie Bennett says, "With potentially 30 teams, both male and female, juniors through to seniors, it is really important that the club have the right people to progress the Football Club at all levels."

"I think that the additions we have made to the Executive Board, will have the resources to put the club on a sustainable platform for a number of years".

Incoming Vice Chairman, Alan Ure says, "My ambition is to see Eastwood CFC excel in every area of it's operations, driving our ethos and philosophy and constantly improving. I would like to see Eastwood CFC as the club of choice in the East Midlands from local community involvement to involvement in national league competitions, building links in the local community and the wider football community, making the club a HUB for social and sporting activity."

"The past 8 years, I have been Chairman of Sandiarce Town FC, developing the club into one of the largest in Derbyshire."

"I am also Chairman of Derby Futsal League, I'm also a Derby Council FA Member, Level 2 coach, current U15 and U21 coach, I have an FA Level 4 in Physiology, I've been a Pro Club Scout (FA Level 2 Talent ID Qualified), I am a coach mentor and a league official".

Over future weeks, we will be discussing our plans with all teams at the club via presentations for coaches, players and parents to attend.
