‘Bally’ (35) a Carlton Town legend appearing over 200 times for the club captaining the side for over half of them across two spells. As well as Carlton Town, Martin also names Hucknall Town, Grantham Town, Worksop Town and Clifton All Whites amongst his previous clubs.

An eight-teen year playing career which came to an end in December for over half that time Martin has represented Carlton Town. Ball progressed through the CTFC academy system to the first team, making his debut at just seven-teen, where he won the Supporters Player of the Year in the 2009/10 season.

He joined Hucknall Town at the start of the 2010/11 season before joining Grantham Town, helping them win the Evo-Stik League Division 1 South championship in May 2012. Before returning to Carlton earning numerous promotions and play off appearances and a handful of Nottinghamshire Senior Cup wins.
