Eastwood could not build on their win last weekend and lost to an early second half strike from Joe Butler.
Linby won their third game on the trot , 1-0 at Eastwood.
Joe Butler got the vital goal on 47 minutes.
Linby wasted a raft of chances to win by more, Eastwood keeper Andy Fretwell made a series of excellent saves , in front of a large crowd of 170 at Coronation Park.
