ECFC 3-3 Clay Cross Town

With at least 6 1st team players missing Eastwood's team was definitely weakened however with the players we put out Paul McFarland expected a better result.

Eastwood went into half time 2-0 down and some poor defending.

Three minutes after the interval Eastwood pulled a goal back after Karl Munton crossed for Dave Worger to get his 4th goal of the season.

Just before the hour mark Eastwood were level after some good work from Daniel Guild on the left the ball fell for Lee Bull to slot into the far corner.

Ten minutes from time Matt McCaul brought down Clay Cross's front back for a penalty which was hammered into the roof of the goal.

However two minutes from time a brilliant burst from Elliott Pitt saw him beat three players and hit a 30 yard strike into the bottom corner.
