Eastwood included four under 18's in their squad as new manager Matt McCaul made six changes from the team that drew with Swanwick.
The visitors started well, and were unlucky, on 5 minutes, when Dave Worgers shot came back off the post. Linby keeper Gaz Hickman was called into play, saving two long range efforts, from the visitors. Eastwood could not make the pressure pay however and after a slow start Linby started to get a foothold into the game, and scored two goals inside three first half minutes.
Jack Millwards 25 yarder was tipped over by Andy Fretwell from the resultant corner, Sam Meakins inswinging delivery could only be helped into his own goal, by the luckless Fretwell.
Linbys second goal came from top goal scorer Joe Butler, his cross to Tom Coupe at the far post, was headed against the post, and Kaylum Mitchell was on hand to poke home.

On 50mins, Eastwood's returning Nathan Mathers was sent off, after receiving his second yellow card.
Eastwood halved the deficit getting one back from the penalty spot, through Gregg Simmons, but his penalty had to be taken twice, in a bizarre incident after he was cautioned at his first attempt, for stopping in his run up.
Linby sealed the win on 77mins, Joe Butler again causing a threat won and scored a penalty after being brought down by Adam Jackson.
