Eastwood actually started the game very brightly and crated the first clear chance of the game but Rory Smith pulled his shot wide with a clear sight of goal.Eastwood did take the lead on 20 minutes when Patrick Webb capitalised when a defender lost his footing and Webb finished with aplomb from 20 yards with a thunderous drive.

Eastwood were enjoying most of the success going forward down the left flank with Webb and Kane Mathews linking well.
Sherwood began to play themselves into the game and equalised on 28 minutes when Shaw looping header beat Walker from a set play.Sherwood began to dominate Eastwood for the rest of the half and scored what turned out to be the winning goal on 40 minutes when English finished from close range after poor defensive play by Eastwood.

The second half was much the same as the first half finished with Sherwood dominating in key areas of the park and should of added to their lead but were wasteful in the final third. Eastwood best moments of the half came in the final 15 minutes with McDermott and Webb both having efforts saved by Smith.
