Teversal Reserves 3-4 ECFC

Eastwood continued their recent good league form securing 3 points on Tuesday night away at Teversal.

Eastwood fell behind to an early goal but got themselves back into the game with Jack Smith equalising on 30 minutes to go in at half-time all square.

Eastwood upped their game at the start of the second half and went into the lead. Paddy Webb scoring direct from a well taken free kick from the edge of the area. Teversal equalised 10 minutes later with a well worked goal. Eastwood regained the lead on 75 minutes when Chay Betteridge stabbed home from close range. 2 minutes later Eastwood gave themselves a 2 goal cushion Jack Smith calmly finished inside the area.

With 4 minutes left Eastwood conceded a sloppy penalty which was converted leaving Eastwood with a nervous final few minutes of the game to secure the points.
