Another nerve -shattering performance put Desborough into the 4th round of the FA Vase, the last 32 teams in the competition. Going ahead with a great Dean header just before half-time, Desborough were rocked by a powerful second half performance from Eastwood who seemed unfazed when reduced to 10 men after Thomas received a straight red. Eastwood smashed home a deserved 89 minute equaliser. To extra time -again!- when Hall with a clinical finish and Dean with two late breakaway goals for his hat-trick ended Eastwood's long winning streak and sent Desborough on to Round 4 with a 4-1 win.
