After Saturday's Vase victory Eastwood are now into the last thirty-two of the national competition where today they found out they would travel to Deeping Rangers in the next round, with the tie to be played on Saturday 5th January 2019.

Away from Vase action Eastwood turn their focus to the league where they host Newark Flowserve this weekend. Flowserve who are tipped to win the league are currently on a run of eleven straight wins including a 4-1 victory against the Red Badgers at the end of October.

Newark have accumulated the most points at home this season than anyboday else but away from home they have drawn two and lost two of their nine away matches, which includes being held at Clifton All Whites and Graham Street Prims, and defeats at the hands of Selston and Ingles.

No team in EMCFL have picked up more points than Eastwood in the last ten games nine wins and loss have seen Eastwood rise to fifth in the league three points behind Radford with a game in hand. In all competitions, the only blip in Eastwood's last seventeen games the only blip was the defeat at Hawton Lane.
