Four months on from the epic clash at Debdale Lane, Eastwood meet Sherwood again this time in the FA Vase.

Despite missing out on top spot Sherwood Colliery were promoted and haven't looked back since, seven wins out of seven in EMCL and eight from eight in all competitions, including a 7-1 defeat of leaders Graham Street Prims last night (Tuesday), Sherwood are the form team at step six at the moment. Currently sitting at top of the league full of confidence with their only defeat in their last twenty-four games coming against Eastwood on that famous day in May.

Lewis Weaver notched twenty goals in twenty-eight starts last season for Blidworth Welfare in CMFL before making the switch in the summer to Sherwood. 2018/19 he is Sherwood Colliery top goalscorer his impressive tally of ten goals in eight appearances also makes him top goalscorer in the league.

Paddy Webb seems to have returned to form and is Eastwood's most profilic goalscorer in the FA Vase scoring five goals in his last five games in the national competition. Chay Bettridge record is also quite impressive scoring three goals in his last four appearances.
