Eastwood CFC 1st Team kick off their bank holiday weekend tomorrow when they make the short trip to neighbours Heanor Town.

Saturday 25th Eastwood face Heanor Town in their first of two games in three days.

Heanor have played two matches so far this campaign winning their opening game 2-0 against Rainworth MW before going down to a heavy defeat against title favourites Newark Flowserve, in the middle of those two results Heanor were knocked out of the FA Cup at the first stage away at Lutterworth Town.

Eastwood will be keen to get back to winning ways, despite rescuing a last minute point against Belper United last time out, the draw ended Eastwood's twenty-one game winning run at home but still leaves the red badgers unbeaten at home since 2nd September 2017.

Player Watch: Luke Crosby could be one to watch for Heanor, he has scored one goal this season from his only appearance and bagged 11 in 17 starts last year for a South Normanton side who finished fourth from bottom at Step Five.

The game tomorrow will be Eastwood's first trip to Derbyshire since the 1-0 defeat of Swanwick back in May. STAT ATTACK: The last time Eastwood CFC lost in Derbyshire was on the 30th April 2016 against Pinxton.

Then on Monday Eastwood welcome Selston FC to the PSUSA 3G Arena in what promises to be a huge local derby clash.

The last meeting between the two teams attracted over two-hundred people in an epic Friday night match at Eastwood, with the home side running out 3-1 winners on the night.

Selston have made an excellent start to the 2018/19 season winning their opening three games and have scored ten without reply in their last two.

Monday's match will also be a special day for eight players from Eastwood CFC Under 8's who will walk out on the pitch with the players and have their photo's taken with the team and captain Billy Brooks, before having a half time penalty shoot-out.

Player Watch: Ben Moore is a prolific striker at this level proven by the fact he has already notched up five this season. His fourteen goals last year in EMCL helped Selston to a fourth place finish in their first season at step six.
