Eastwood are just two wins away from clinching the Central Midlands title but face a tough trip to Swanwick tonight.

Eastwood travel to Swanwick tonight before a huge clash with Sherwood on Saturday.

Eastwood are in incredible form at the moment, Wednesday's victory at Hilton lifted Eastwood to top of the league for the first time this season and the Red Badgers strengthened their position with a 4-1 win on Saturday against Matlock Town Reserves. Eastwood are seven goals away from a century in the league, Joe Butler has seventeen of those, ten of which coming in his last nine games.

The Opposition:
Swanwick started the CMFL season well after an opening day defeat to title challengers Sherwood Colliery Swanwick won two out of their next three before defeats against Linby Colliery, Hilton Harriers and Hucknall Town. Impressive away wins at Aslockton, AFC Kilburn, Keyworth United, Blidworth Welfare and Matlock Town Reserves got the Swans back on track. However defeats against the top four left Swanwick in eleventh in the league but six wins in eight including five straight wins at home have lifted the team to seventh, six places and thirty-three points below Eastwood in the table.

STAT ATTACK:
Swanwick have won their last five at home scoring twenty goals in the process, the Derbyshire side haven't lost at home in the league since October and have only lost three of their last twenty at home in the league a run stretching back to September 2016.

Last Time We Met:
Paddy Webb stole the show in the last meeting between the sides scoring a sixteen minute hat trick with Jack Smith getting himself on the score sheet as well completing a 4-0 rout. Paddy Webb has five goals against Swanwick in four appearances. Eastwood are unbeaten in their last six against the Swans and haven't lost at Swanwick since their first ever game back in August 2014.

STAT ATTACK: Eastwood haven't lost in Derbyshire in the league since April 2016 a run of thirteen games (11 wins, 2 draws).

Player Watch:
Guy Wilding - Wilding has bagged twenty-one goals this season in twenty-five starts and is in red hot form scoring seven goals in his last five games, including a hat trick against AFC Kilburn.
