Eastwood Reserves continued their excellent league form by beating Heanor Town Reserves last night..

The Reserves made it eleven wins out of thirteen in league and with so extended their lead at the top of the table to nine points.

Eastwood made four changes from their triumph over Swanwick last time out, Dylan Miles replaced Jake Pearson between the sticks and Kurt Harrison, Leyton Nethercot and Owen Everton came in for Jack Smith, Adam Hassall and Kieran Knight. Meaning Eastwood lined up without a recognised striker.

An uneventful first half as both teams struggled to create any clear cut chances, Eastwood were lacking a target man up front as all the balls kept coming back.

Eastwood looked a lot better second half bringing on fresh legs and altering there formation.

With thirteen minutes left on the clock Kieran Knight picked up the ball at the half way line and drove down Heanor's right hand side beat three men and then delivered an excellent cross for Harry Gill who couldn't miss.

Right on the final whistle Eastwood confirmed the three points when the visitors caught Heanor on the break Kieran Knight chopped in side then outside then coolly stroked the ball past the unfortunate Heanor keeper.
