Second game in after Eastwood remain unbeaten after a well earned draw against Rolls Royce.

First half we started a little slow and Rolls Royce Blue were very dominant in the middle of the field taking control of the game and advanced into a 1 goal lead inside the first 10 minutes. Rolls Royce were winning most second balls and were putting us on the back foot, although we did break away at their goal with speed only to make the wrong choices until Blayden pounced on a loose ball to scramble it home making it 1-1.

Rolls kept pushing and their desire all over edged us out and we seemed to be very narrow with our wide men not keeping the width and players getting in each others way, this allowing Rolls to capitalise on our loose play to smash home 2 goals to advance into a 3-1 lead.

10 minutes to go a few tweaks having been made and we began to settle into our stride. Liam taking control in the middle of the field and we began to press quicker and punished Rolls as the ball spun out wide from a challenge when Rolls tried to play out and Reuben drove the ball in from the right hand side to make it 2-3. Just before the break Reece broke free and smashed the ball towards the top corner only for their keeper to some how keep the ball out.

Our defence settled with good performances from Blayden, Taylor and Daniel putting in good shifts.

HT - 2-3 in Rolls favour.

I felt the first half we had been sloppy and Rolls had been stronger winning the majority of the ball. Some of our first touches let us down and we gave the ball away too easily at times, along with getting the ball stuck under our feet - never under estimate your opponents even when you've beat them comfortably twice before. The lads knew this and I asked for more 2nd half.

Second half our shape, determination and game play was far better, Rolls rarely troubled us. We won the ball better and had the better chances in front of goal. The Rolls keeper made some fantastic saves whilst Alfie had only 2 routine stops to make.

We continued to push forward and I hoped for the ball to fall kindly to which it did and Cody slotted home to make it 3-3.

We looked like the team who could push on to win it but unfortunately it wasn't to be.

Both teams dominating a half each and a share of the points a fair result.

Well done on coming back from 3-1 down, this showed great character and all the boys picked it up to turn the game around.
