Eastwood CFC announce 2018 Academy trial dates

Eastwood CFC are delighted to announce that the Academy trial dates have now been confirmed. The dates are as follows:

Trial 1: 20th February 2018 (1-3pm)
Trial 2: 3rd April 2018 (1-3pm)
Trial 3: 1st June 2018 (1-3pm)
Trial 4: 27th July 2018 (1-3pm)

The club can offer 2018 school leavers a BTEC Level 3 in Sport, as well as the HND course that also takes place at the Academy.

PLEASE NOTE: all of the dates that have been set are during school holidays.

Our Academy has players aged 16-21 and our reserve and first team allow players great progression opportunities. Our overall goal is to progress players to a higher level, with Evo-stick Div 1 an ambition for the first team within 5 years.

The football club has worked extremely hard to provide a pathway for academy players, giving them the opportunity to progress into the first team and beyond.

Eastwood CFC U’21 (North Midland U’21 League)
Eastwood CFC Reserves (Central Midlands Reserve League)
Eastwood CFC First Team (Central Midlands League)

The club’s philosophy of producing academy players to progress into the first team has attracted numerous professional club scouts to watch games at all levels at the club, giving players with talent and drive the opportunity to forge a career elsewhere in the football pyramid, if they perform well. Our academy is constantly performing at a high standard, our first team have included 8 academy players in their ranks this season and are all set for promotion come May 2017.
