For the majority of the first half we more than matched them and could easily have been 1 or 2 goals ahead too, if chances were taken, and we did have plenty of chances throughout the game. A bit of mardiness crept in and then an unfortunate goal for Warsop, which Jaydan thought he had covered but the ball hit a divot and bounced over him into the net, Up until then he had been superb in goal, saving everything and keeping it 0-0, but this goal seemed to make the lads head drop and then started to have a lot of negativity towards each other.

We have spoken to them a lot about this and we hope that it's just the age and they will grow out of it, sooner the better for the team though, as these lads are far better than today's performance, and in the right frame of mind they are capable of beating anyone. Warsop did the basics better than we did and passed the ball, for us it was like a hot potato and not enough composure on the ball, but we when we did get to grips with it and looked to pass the ball about, we carved through their defence and had chances on goal, we just happened to find their keeper in great form too. A few things to work on in training, like being more determined to win the ball and being first to the ball, fighting for the second ball too. Come with that belief in your hearts too and don't worry about where the opposition are in the league, whether they are, middle or bottom, it doesn't matter, just put in that fight and determination and the results will come. Put this game behind us, work hard again in training and let's get 3 points in our next game. And let's get back to positive encouragement with each other.

PS: I must add, what a fantastic triple save by Doddsy in the second half, both keepers where great today.
