ECFC Saturday Gold U12 0-5 West Bridgford Avengers

The first half Eastwood just weren't at the races, making too many mistakes and gifting West Bridgford a 4 goal lead. We couldn't keep the ball for more than 2 passes before giving it back to them and allowing them too much time and space on the ball. The fight and determination just wasn't there.

After a half time talking too we saw a bit more from them second half. And we took the game to them and gave them something to think about. We managed to get the ball in the back of their net from a free kick by Brandon, but unlucky for him it was chalked off as Mikey who had a little touch on the ball on the line was deemed offside.

West Bridgford put the game to bed when they scored a second penalty.

A very disappointing game and very frustrating to watch as we know these boys are far better than this result .

Hopefully the new discipline methods will help us to turn it around.
