An improved second half see's Eastwood make it three straights win after a 5-2 victory over Clipstone.

Eastwood made six changes from the side that hammered Blidworth Welfare last Friday, Alexander Shayler (injured), Dylan Miles (Bench), Leyton Nethercot (injured), Kieron Hobday (Bench), Joe Spencer (injured) and Finley Hayes (injured) all dropped out. In came Zia Douglas, Steven Beejer, Zi Sibanda, Ochi Fraser, Randy Bonsu and Bayleigh Reid.

Eastwood made a slow start to the game and took around twenty minutes to get started. Then a piece of individual brilliance saw Ochi Fraser skip by two players and brake in to the Clipstone half before unleashing a shot from forty yards. The away side soon doubled their lead when Kieran Knight outmuscled the Clipstone defender before firing home. Two minutes before the break Eastwood failed to clear a Clipstone corner after the ball bounced around in the area Clipstone eventually put the ball in to the back of the net.

Eastwood had a telling off at half time and came out firing for the second half, a slight change of tactics and formation and an adapted role for Bayleigh Reid meant Eastwood dominated the second half with some excellent football. Eastwood extended their lead on the hour mark Bayleigh Reid picked up the ball and played a perfect pass to Kieran Knight who stuck it away for his second of the game. Ten minutes later Knight completed his fifth hattrick of the season finishing well on his left foot. The best goal of the game came eleven minutes from time goalkeeper Randy Bonsu rolled the ball out to the left back ten passes later Kieran Knight found himself free on the edge of the area the Clipstone keeper came rushing out Knight's quick thinking saw the big striker square the ball to Zi Sibanda to tap home. Sloppy defending from Eastwood allowed Clipstone to reduce the deficit but the goal proved only to a consolation.
