They were on the attack from the off and took an early lead through Noah Curtis who finished well from wide on the right.

Education almost hit back immediately but, having been denied by a superb last ditch tackle by Kaiden Anyanwu, found themselves further behind. A pin-point Ronnie May free kick found Ethan Cross in the box and he produced a deft, cushioned volley to make it 2-0.

The two teams traded chances as half time approached but there were no more goals before the break. A brave headed clearance off the line by Logan Allen and a brilliant save by Euan Parker kept Education out at one end while the bar denied Noah his second at the other.

Both sides came out for the second half playing some lovely stuff and Eastwood found the passing game that seemed to desert them a little in recent weeks. Ellis Ward and Conrad Hawryluk showed great composure and instigated a number of attacks by playing out positively from the back but it was two corners that gave Eastwood their third and fourth goals. Firstly Noah poked home at the back post and then Rylan Jackson reacted fastest as the ball bobbled around in the box.

Education continued to press but came away with nothing, thanks first to another great save from Euan and then a timely tackle from Ellis. They did finally get a goal though, bundling home from a corner of their own to make it 4-1 going into the final couple of minutes.

The gloss was put on the Eastwood performance with seconds remaining. A long kick from Euan evaded the last defender and a good turn of pace from Ethan got him to the ball before it went out of play and he cut back superbly to find Max Jukes who had anticipated well and finished nicely. 5-1 the final score.
