On another horribly wet Saturday morning ECFC Under 7’s fell victim to their first defeat, in a game when the score line flatters the opposition.

Eastwood started well and scored a great opening goal Goalkeeper Charlie Magil rolled the ball out to Keaton Short who played a great pass to Sam Dudley and after a fantastic run, Sam found Alfie Naylor who rolled the ball home 1-0.

It was soon two as Alfie got his second goal of the game straight from a corner kick. The first quarter ended level as Bingham pulled two goals back.

Eastwood regained the lead after another great run by Sam who’s shot was saved but Toby Fletcher was on hand to put the ball away 3-2. However once again Bingham pulled level an unlucky bounce saw the ball drop at the feet of Bingham’s big number 5 who gladly finished it 3-3.

No goals in the third quarter but some great saves from both keepers.

In the final quarter Bingham took the game away from the home side scoring six goals without reply to see the game end 3-9.

In only Eastwood’s second game the lads really impressed again despite the score line, lots of positives and we move on to next week.ECFC U7 3-9 Bingham Town U7
