Simon Bryant's Youth Team returned to winning ways in style with a 4-0 win over Ruddington Village at the PSUSA 3G Arena on Friday evening.

New signing Zeb Kasujja opening the scoring after 20 minutes after some excellent combination play from Morgan Hayes and Finley Whyte before Kasujja doubled Eastwood's lead shortly after the restart.

Darnell Forde then added a third with a perfectly placed finish from 20 yards and the evening was capped by Kane Tooley who headed home from a Lewis Fletcher corner.

Bryant was extremely pleased by the reaction of his players after last weekend's defeat to Basford and suggested that it was by far the most complete performance since he arrived.

"We were outstanding from start to finish, said Bryant.

We changed the formation to help control things better in the middle of the pitch and to make us more effective in the final third.

I thought Morgan Hayes totally dominated the midfield area and with playing two down it not only gave extra protection in terms of our back line but also gave our full backs licence to get forward to support our front four.

Harry Harrison has again been outstanding whilst Fletcher Parker, Finley Whyte and Lewis Fletcher worked non-stop to pinch high and create for Zeb.

The players were full deserving of the win".
