Although Hucknall Town’s match at Pinxton in the YourFootballWorld.com Reserve division was postponed, they now have the advantage after Heanor Town slipped to a 1-0 defeat at home to Holbrook Sports, the all-important goal coming from Adam Lillie. Hucknall are now 12 points ahead of Heanor having played three games more.
Radford took advantage of Heanor’s loss to nip into second place after a 6-1 win at Holbrook St Michaels. Tony Wilson scored a hat trick, Kyle Pemberton got two with Daniel Hough also on target, Dain Sismey getting Holbrook’s goal.
There was a goal rush at Digby Street where Eastwood Community and Harworth Colliery produced ten between them, Eastwood running out 6-4 winners. Scorers here were Jez Bailey (3), Jay Westwood, Reece Papworth and Matt Clowes for Eastwood, Harworth replying through Kyle Pashley (2), Lee Anderson and Michael Wibberley.
