Another convincing win and performance from the Red Badgers, Lutterworth Town the victims last night.

Another impressive showing from Eastwood on Tuesday night as they swept aside last season’s United Counties League champions Lutterworth Town. A goal a piece for strikers Kieran Knight, Kieren Watson and Patrick Webb, as well as a Joe Harrison headed giving Eastwood the victory.

Lutterworth Town Notes from The Gaffer-

“I’m delighted with the performance and delighted with the response of certain members of the squad”

“ Was good to get Everyone back and out there, Jared Holmes controlled the game from minute one alongside Kieran Harrison, Will Heath and Ben Gowing and again the opposition found it hard to cope”

“Knighty was starting the game but felt his groin in the warm up but felt well enough to feature and got his goal”

“We have options everywhere and have all the lads committed for the long run. Dave Lilley has a really good squad for the development too so at the minute we are progressing as we wished”

“ I would like to thank our supporters for continuing to support us throughout pre season and have a little patience with how we play. I have asked the lads to play a certain way so if you have any questions feel free to speak to me. Your support is vital and getting behind the boys in good times and bad is vital! We need you guys!
