The last time Eastwood met Dunkirk was in October 2017 when a Paddy Webb brace and a Chay Bettridge goal was enough to give the Red Badgers a 3-2 victory and progress them through to the second round of the FA Vase. Since then Dunkirk have been relegated from MFL (Step 5) but have made a good start to life in EMCFL currently unbeaten this season 'The Moatmen' put four past Barrow Town at the weekend along with draws against Graham Street Prims and Heanor Town. Dunkirk stegthened over the summer adding the likes of Tyrrell Shannon-Lewis to their ranks, a prolific striker who bagged twenty-eight goals last campaign in twenty nine games for Gedling MW and Newark Flowserve.

“I delighted to have signed Dwayne Soar, he has been training with us for over a month and is in good shape, Dwayne will give us experience and calmness on the ball from centre back or midfield. But those who know Dwayne will know that he takes no nonsense and will add to the strength we already have. He is also a good man and will help the younger boys in the dressing room”

“I am looking to add one more signing before the weekend to help cope with our injuries and suspensions”
