Eastwood return to action tomorrow afternoon, hoping to make it back to back league wins.

Wednesday night saw Eastwood put eight past Teversal, a hattrick a piece for Paddy Webb and Kieran Knight along with a Callum McGarry brace helping the Red Badgers progress to the second round of the league cup where they’ll now face a trip to Barrow Town, date TBC.

Paddy Webb’ sublime form continued in the week scoring his third hattrick in his last five games, taking his tally to thirteen goals in ten games for the season. Webb has now scored twenty-seven goals in his last eighteen appearances since James Jepson took over.

Sixteen year old academy captain Ben Wallis is set to make his full debut tomorrow after impressing in recent weeks. Ben came off the bench on Wednesday evening and featured in the friendly against Nottingham Forest, Jepson now feels he’s ready for the step up.

On Wednesday night Wallis became the twelfth Academy player to play for the 1st Team, with the current manager giving half of the twelve players their debut.

James Jepson thoughts ahead of tomorrow’s clash....

“We go into tomorrows game in good spirits. Last two games have been more like us and credit to the players. Nice to see smiles back on faces.”

“ Kieren Watson is getting there and will hopefully be back in 1 or 2 games, and Will Heath returns to the squad.”
