Eastwood CFC U9 Saturday team who were only formed at the start of the 2016/17 season have progressed to become league Division 3 Champions. The team maintained their unbeaten run in the YEL Spring League on Saturday to win the title.

The Team have had some great games coming across a variety of challenges both home and away against some good opposition but have grown as a team showing great desire and determination along the way. All the players have put what they have learnt in practice into their game play, and this has been shown in some lovely football being played for children aged 8 & 9 years old.

In our final game we came up against a team also undefeated however ECFC put in a stunning performance to win the division in style.

All the players now look forward to a visit to the Nottingham Royal Concert Hall in June to collect their reward for their hard work.
