He was a key part of the Dunkirk side that won the East Midlands Counties League in 2018 before going on to join Hinckley, earning them promotion back to the Midland League Premier.

A midfielder with wide experience of step four football, he has featured in the middle of the park for a number of Evo-Stik clubs including Loughborough Dynamo, Carlton Town and Lincoln United, with whom he reached the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup six seasons ago.

The management duo had been keen on bringing in Tom from when they were first appointed; “Tom is the first person we contacted in January to bring in when me and Bally got the job that’s how highly we think of him.”

“He’s a natural leader, he can mix it when it needs to be mixed but equally is a superb footballer that will get us playing in midfield. We spoke at length with him about what we would want from him and what he is looking to get out of football this year and it fits perfectly. The likes of Taity, Jack Messom and Kyle Coke have one of the best people to lean on and learn from, what Maddo brings to the club and dressing room makes us so much stronger we’re delighted to finally get him on board!”

‘Maddo’ has played alongside both the gaffer’s and expressed his admiration for the pair, “DT and Bally are two lads I’ve spent plenty of years around and shared numerous dressing rooms with, two top players in their own right at step 4 and above. Their managerial ambition and commitment clearly matches Daryl Claypole and Eastwood’s and I’m happy to be on board and play my part in this coming season. The squad looks to be shaping up really well and the atmosphere around the place is sure to be how it should be.”
