The versatile 33-year old returns having previously played under former bosses, James Jepson, Stephen Kirkham, Zander Shayler & Paul Rockley.
White first joined the club in 2020 around the time of the pandemic having just helped Ilkeston Town to another promotion. White was part of the James Jepson side that earned promotion from EMCFL to the UCL. Lavell lists; Stafford Rangers, Loughborough Dynamo, Matlock Town and Eastwood Town amongst just a few of his former clubs. ‘LV’ played an influential part on and off the field in Eastwood CFC 4-4 draw with Worksop Town in the clubs only year in the FA Cup back in 2021 setting up two goals helping to earn a replay at Coronation Park.
Joint boss Daryll Thomas shares his delight upon capturing Lavell’ signature, “We are delighted Lavell has committed for the upcoming season, if it weren’t for the 7 day ruling we would of re-signed him last season.”
“LV is someone we trust, he’ll add much needed experience and another big personality to be in and around the dressing room. His versatility to play either full back or as a winger will be valuable to us and let’s not forget he was a very important piece to Ilkeston Town’s promotions recently so he knows what is needed to be challenging at the right end of the table.”
Lavell shared his thoughts on his return, “Im delighted to be back at the club for my third stint. I’ve played under 4 managers here through some good and bad spells so when Daryll and the management team contacted me about the plans and the clubs ambitions it was an opportunity I had to say yes to and bring my experience and drive to help get this club back on track to where they belong.”
Welcome Lavell!
