Impressive Forward Sacha Markelic is a Red Badger and goes straight into the squad to face his former club tomorrow night.

Markelic who has scored over 50 goals in two seasons at the Town Ground joins a frontline of Tyler Blake and Kieren Watson following Aaron O’Connor’s injury. Sacha also lists Ilkeston Town, Loughborough Dynamo and Corby Town amongst his former club.

Joint boss Daryll Thomas says

“Delighted to add Sacha to the squad, I spoke with him in the summer briefly as he is someone we identified as a top target but it didn’t quite work out so to get him on board this early on in the season is huge for us.”
