The eagerly anticipated clash between Eastwood CFC and Sherwood Colliery returns to Coronation Park tomorrow night, following a season’s absence. Recently relegated from Step 4, Sherwood are widely considered favourites for an immediate return—and their early form supports that reputation. Two convincing wins and a draw against Clay Cross Town have put the Mansfield side in a strong position after just three matches.

Squad Update:

Martin Ball and Daryll Thomas are both expected back in the dugout, with several changes likely to the starting XI. Sam Wilson is available for selection again after Saturday’s red card. Meanwhile, Phil Watt—who suffered only his third league defeat on the road last weekend—will be looking to re-establish a solid defensive partnership with Jake Wright and help the side secure a first home clean sheet since February 1st.
