It's Non-League Day and we welcome Pinchbeck United to Coronation Park.

Relegation threatened Pinchbeck United are tomorrow's guests as the Red Badgers look to take the final play off position.

Pinchbeck who currently prop up the UCL Premier North division, picked up a surprise victory over Belper United last time out having failed to score in three of their last five matches loosing their last four away from home conceding eight-teen. Seven wins in four seasons on the road has definitely been a factor in why they are in the position they are. The victory over Belper last Saturday was their first this year but will certainly give them confidence that they can avoid the drop.

Thomas & Ball added "We know we probably have to win every game to give ourselves a chance of the play offs but us and the players haven't given up hope and we will give it a real go in these final fivegames.

Player Watch: With top goalscorer Andre Williams making the switch to Wisbech in December it has left a huge hole in the Knights attack. From the current squad Amadu Kanu leads the way for goals netting four in nineteen appearances with two coming from the penalty spot.

Previous Meetings: The Knights have never beaten ECFC, standing winless in all five previous encounters. Its two wins from two at Coronation Park with Nick Labbate picking up a 2-1 victory in Pinchbecks most recent visit to CP. Tomorrow's guests will be hoping to keep all eleven men on the pitch having suffered two red cards in the last three meetings.

STAT ATTACK: Eastwood CFC recorded their biggest ever away win against Pinchbeck in August hitting the knights for six. The last time the Red Badgers scored six in a home league fixture was October 2021 against tomorrow's opponents.

Squad Update: Martin Ball & Daryll Thomas have no fresh injury concerns ahead of tomorrow's must win game. Lavell White is still out with a back injury, Steven Beejer and Ben Gowing both wait for results as to whether they need operations, Marcus Marshall continues his recovery. Skipper Aaron O'Connor has shrugged off a minor injury and will be available for selection as will Ryan Tait for the first time this month. With the gaffers keen to get minutes into the legs of players ahead of the huge County Cup Semi Final with Nottingham Forest on Wednesday evening, Jamie McGuire and Mahmoud Juma are unlikley to feature as both are ineligible for the tie.

Zander Shayler commented: "Although the results over the past couple of months haven't been the best its worth remembering that prior to that we had won almost every game in the first half of the season. Under Martin & Daryll we have accumulated more points this season than in the last two campaigns combined, reaching the Semi Final of the Nottinghamshire Senior Cup for the first time ever, bringing young players through like Lynden Joyce, Jack Messom and Terry Atem, securing the highest place finish in our history. We have six huge games left to play your support for those fixtures particularly at home will be hugely appreciated as we have one final push. Support the managers, support the team, support your local club, Football is not a TV show, let be having you.
