Previous meetings: Both previous match up's have ended level after 90 minutes with the Red Badgers winning the last fixture on penalties. In fact half of the six meetings have ended in a stalemate with the Red Badgers yet to defeat Gresley at home.
Player Watch: Former Red Badger Sam Moore scored three in his first two games of the season and is always a threat, his strike partner Jenson Cooper has picked up where he left off last season netting five goals in nine appearances after retiring to Rovers after a very short spell at Ashby Ivanhoe. Cooper who netted a hat trick in a a recent FA Vase fixture has scored three goals in his last three starts against Eastwood.
Squad Update: Thomas and Ball look likely to name the same squad that lost to Hucknall. Meaning Will Robinson, Ryan Tait, Tyler Johal and Abdul Saad are all still sidelined. Toby Woodward started his first game since October 2024 on Saturday and could make back to back starts for the first time ever. Phil Watt could start his first match in nearly three weeks with his centre half partner Jake Wright set to captain the side again with the absence of Aaron O'Connor.
