A move to Coalville Town followed, where he enjoyed continued success and he then joined Bedworth United for a further three seasons before returning to the east midlands to join the clubs biggest rivals, Ilkeston Town in 2020. He re-joined Carlton Town in March 2023 and helped the Millers to avoid relegation in a superb end of season programme. Alex decided on a move to Belper Town in June 2023 where the forward has appeared ten times this season.

Having confirmed the signing this morning the gaffers struggled to contain their excitement Martin Ball added:
“We have known Trokey for a long time and he is exactly the type of player we were looking to bring into the squad. He has been successful at the levels above this and comes with a very good pedigree. A signing like this will certainly make alot of noise but there’s no doubt Trokey will deliver what we need on the pitch. He received numerous offers from our level and above, but has put his faith in DT & myself and what we are trying to build at Eastwood. Welcome to the club Trokey.”
Upon signing Trokey said: “I’m buzzing to be back where my non league career began, the club has been through some real tough times but the chairman along side all the staff and the management team have brought a real excitement and a feel good factor back. I can’t wait to be apart of the journey. See you Saturday!”
Alex joins Thomas Hodgkinson in going straight into the 18-man squad looking to make it to the Fourth Round Proper of the FA Vase this Saturday.
Welcome to the Eastwood, Trokey!
