Upcoming Events at Eastwood CFC
There’s plenty happening at Coronation Park over the coming weeks as Eastwood CFC prepares to host a series of events for the local community. From family-friendly celebrations to meaningful fundraising fixtures, the club is once again opening its doors to bring people together.

Halloween Fancy Dress Party – Thursday 30th October, 6pm–11pm

The celebrations begin with our annual Halloween Fancy Dress Party. This popular event promises an evening of fun, music, food and games, with a live DJ providing entertainment throughout the night.

It’s a great way for families to start the Halloween weekend, with fancy dress encouraged and prizes to be won. Entry is completely free, and everyone is welcome. The bar and food hut will be open all evening.
Doors open at 6pm, and both adults and children are invited to join what has become one of the most enjoyable nights of the year at Coronation Park.

Charity Match in Memory of Matt Dudley – Friday 31st October, Kick Off 7:45pm

The following night, Eastwood CFC will host a special charity match in memory of Matt Dudley, a much-loved friend of the club who sadly passed away in September.

Matt had been part of the Eastwood CFC family for more than a decade, first bringing his son Sam to Soccer School as a young boy before helping to coach his team. He was a passionate supporter of the first team, always found with a friendly face and a few words of encouragement in the clubhouse.

Matt leaves behind his partner Mel and children Caitlyn, Isabelle and Sam. This charity fixture, between Heanor Veterans and Marpool Veterans, aims to raise money for his family.

Entry is free, and a raffle will be held on the night with all proceeds donated to the Dudley family. Donations are also welcome.

Fireworks Spectacular – Friday 7th November, Gates Open 5:30pm (Display at 8pm)

Eastwood CFC is delighted to host its first ever Fireworks Spectacular at Coronation Park. With more than 500 tickets already sold, this promises to be one of the biggest community events of the year.

The evening will feature a funfair, food festival, indoor market and licensed bar, with the main fireworks display taking place at 8pm.

Tickets are priced at £5.50 for adults, £3 for children, and under-fives go free. Gates open at 5:30pm.

The club hopes this will become an annual event, celebrating the local community and offering a safe, family-friendly fireworks experience in the heart of Eastwood.

Eastwood Winter Wonderland – Sunday 21st December, 2pm–11pm

To round off the year, Eastwood CFC will host its first ever Winter Wonderland, in support of Young Lives vs Cancer and Maggie’s.

The event will feature a wide range of festive activities and attractions, including Santa’s Grotto, a live choir, children’s disco, face painting, food vendors, fairground rides and an indoor market. There will also be a raffle and auction, with an Elvis-themed evening performance providing entertainment into the night.
