The club was approached a couple of months ago with the potential of hosting a local walking football team and after a few weeks of discussions and negotiations the players have decided to sign up with the club.

Speaking with the treasurer Steve Beech he had this to say;

“With the success of our Walking Football group and the numbers that are turning out on a regular basis, we were looking for a place that could accommodate us. Eastwood Community Football Club fits the bill with the flexibility of the pitches and the support of the staff. We were very glad to join them.”

“The "lads' are thoroughly enjoying playing at Eastwood, the pitch is superb and the facilities are great.”

The team will train on Monday’s and Thursday between 11:00 and 12:00.
