It took just ten minutes for the visitors to open the scoring Ricky Starbuck’s cross found Tyler Blake inside the area, the frontman powered a shot goal wards that was too hot to handle and the ball squeezed through the Gedling goalkeeper into the net.
Five minutes before the break Eastwood doubled their lead Blake and Troke with the quick one-two and with Blake in on goal the forward was bundled to the floor and the referee pointed at the spot. Up stepped Alex Troke who sent the goalkeeper the wrong way.

The second period was more of the same starting with Tyler Blake capitalising on a sloppy back back firing the ball into the net to make it 3-0. Tyler Blake was involved again thirteen minutes later his shot beat the goalkeeper but agonisingly hit the cross bar but Alex Troke was on hand to head home the rebound.
Two goals in five minutes put the gloss on the score line, first Sam Wilson’s punt downfield cleared everyone before being collected by Tyler Blake who held off two Gedling defenders before calmly rolling the ball into the back of the net. The final goal of the evening saw substitute Finnley Commons burst down the right wing skipping over challenges driving into the box before putting the ball on a plate for Tyler Blake to tap home his fourth and Eastwood’s sixth.
