A much changed side from two days before saw eleven changes with Ball & Thomas taking a final look at their squad depth.

A really lacklustre first half saw Selston slightly edge the better chances and they took a deserved lead with thirty-six minutes on the clock. Central defender Lee Stevenson with the free kick 25 yards from goal, the big defender manages to get the ball around the wall and into the bottom corner past Sam Tyler. The hosts could have been two goals behind at the break Kamani Wilson giving the ball away and Jacob Barrass’ shot narrowly going wide.

Eastwood CFC 0-1 Selston

Changes were expected and they were made Declan Dunn, Alex Troke, Tyler Blake and Alfie Flynn all being introduced.

Early into the second part of the game a hammer blew saw Robert Norris pull up with a knee injury and limp from the field being replaced by Finnley Commons.

The equaliser came midway through the second half, good work between Fuller and Blake eventual saw Blake pick out Hollis who held off two Selston defenders before slotting the ball underneath former Red Badger Lewis Scott in the Selston goal. Eastwood’s quality started to show and ten minutes from time they scored the winner a lovely switch of play from Declan Dunn found Donte Fuller in acres of space the winger brought the ball down well and finished past Scott.
