A 5-2 Win for ECFC that wasn't easy against a very good KMW side that's improving. The pace of Mawer was too much for them as he set up the first for Clowes to head home.

It was 2 then 3-0 quickly as Mawer and Clowes created headaches for their back line.

Half time 3-0.

The second half KMW came at us again with pace and aggression causing us a few problems, a mistake by our keeper gifted a goal to them making it 3-1 and setting up what could've been squeaky Fergie time!

It was a tight fought battle in the middle with challenges flying in at times but all honest attempts to get the upper hand in the game. Eastwood were well organised at the back and had to be as Kimberley were certainly creating more and more opportunities, but couldn't get their 2nd.

ECFC made it 4 and then a well earned penalty with Mawer' s pace once again as he latched on to a text book pass from Neilson, Clowes converts making it 5-1.

But still time for Kimberley to score a late header seconds from the final whistle which saw Timson hesitate and dive to his right but only to see the ball reach the net.

Final Score 5-2 which sees Eastwood CFC sitting top of the league after 5 games winning all 5 games.
