Well today was my 13th year wedding anniversary and I hoped luck may be on my side as I decided to hopefully celebrate the occasion with a win.

We started well & generally controlled the game with chances a many but as we've witnessed before the quality of the Loscoe keeper was on hand time and time again. Great battles were being displayed all over the field as Loscoe were quite physical, but credit to our boys as we stood toe to toe with them. Finally a great strike by Hayes after good team work broke the dead lock before HT, Fully deserved.

HT 1-0

Second half as the first we defended well and attacked with intent, but we had to stay alert as Loscoe carried a threat on the break with some good attacking play.

Alfie had a few routine saves until we conceded a penalty, resulting in 1-1.

We continued to probe & control the game but Loscoe were very stubborn & wouldn't lie down easily until Harvey added the killer blow after we broke well to which he finished coolly. A relief as this was much deserved from our teams good play and great battling from all the players over the pitch.

As the game came to its final stage Loscoe broke free & I couldn't believe it as I thought all our hard work was to be undone & my heart broken, but Alfie pulled off a great save and then pounced on the loose ball from the rebound.

All the boys tonight put in a great performance with a few having to move positions. Great attitudes were shown by all players and their commitment to each other was top draw. So many great battling displays. Well done on a much deserved win. A great Team effort.
Tonight so many smiles, me included, I wouldn't of wanted to spend the evening any other way.
