It’s the final home game of a season, with ups and downs throughout the campaign the team are determined to have a strong finish.

It’s our final home game of 2023/24 and Kimberley Miners Welfare are the visitors to Coronation Park.

Kimberley who have won just one of their last eight find themselves in a similar position to Eastwood in that they are waiting to finish their season with an away trip to Heanor Town. Well clear of the relegation zone Kimberley will be eyeing up Belper United in 12th place as the look to finish the season with some wins.

Player Watch: Former Red Badger Kole Lambert has been in fine form since joining Kimberley from Newark & Sherwood United in October. The forward has netted thirteen in twenty appearances including four goals in his last four matches.

Previous Meetings: It’s eleven meetings in total between ECFC and Kimberley with four taking place within the last twelve months. Eastwood have won all three meetings this season but all have been fiercely contested and close matchups.

STAT ATTACK: Today’s game with Kimberley will be the fourth meeting between the two sides this season, the first time we have played the same opposition four times in single season since facing Pinxton in the 2017/18 season.

Squad Update: Ball & Thomas could name another young starting eleven with attention now firmly focused on next season. Daniel Elliott is a doubt but Oliver Robinson and Jermain Hollis will both return, Ryan Tait could also be included. Finnley Commons came on the bench in last Saturday’s win away at Sleaford the teenager is another player in contention to start this afternoon.
