3. Terms of Use


Our fantastic, floodlit 3G Stadia Pitch represents a considerable investment by Eastwood CFC, the Premier League and the FA. The state of the art construction and materials in the 3G ATP have a lifespan of at least 10 years, as long as it is used properly and looked after by everyone who uses it.

Please help us to keep this facility open to everyone by following these rules and enforcing them for everyone involved in your letting, including spectators and visitors. You are responsible for any breach of these rules by any person or persons involved or associated with your letting. These are to be understood and accepted in addition to our general Terms and Conditions of Hire.

Limits of usage

– The 3G surface is rated for Football and General sport, fitness and recreation activities

– Vehicles are NOT permitted on the 3G surface under any circumstances

– If you are unsure in any way whether your letting is a permitted activity, you MUST contact Community Football Officer PRIOR to your letting commencing

Footwear

– Only PLASTIC STUDDED footwear is permitted on the 3G surface

– NO flat soled shoes

– NO metal studs, blades or spikes, including metal studs with a plastic base

– NO ‘Astroboots’ (boots with tiny moulded dimples, typically used for hockey)

– All footwear MUST BE CLEAN prior to stepping on to the 3G surface. Boot scrubbers are provided in the spectator area and outside the entrance gate

Food and drink

– Please refrain from bringing food and/or drink in to the spectator area

– NO food of any kind to be brought on to the 3G surface •

– Only bottled water may be brought on to the 3G surface – all other drinks and liquids are FORBIDDEN on the 3G surface

– Please ensure all bottles/trash is removed and disposed of from the facility upon the end of your usage

Smoking and vaping

– Our 3G facility is a non-smoking site. This includes any part of the site within the green perimeter fencing/gates

– It is against the law to smoke or vape ANYWHERE on the site Persons wishing to smoke or vape must leave the site completely, ie go outside of the green perimeter fencing/gates

Alcohol and drugs

– Possession, distribution and/or usage of drugs is NOT PERMITTED anywhere on the site

– Possession, distribution and/or consumption of alcohol is permitted on site but is NOT permitted on or inside of the 3G Pitches, unless prior permission has been given in writing in relation to an event

– Long Eaton United will eject any persons breaching these rules on alcohol and drugs and will report ALL incidents involving drugs to the police

Animals

– Animals such as dogs are NOT PERMITTED anywhere on the 3G site, with the exception of assistance dogs; assistance dogs are NOT PERMITTED on the 3G surface

Litter and lost property

– Please leave the facility clean – take your litter away with you, or use the litter bins provided

– Before leaving the facility, please do a quick check for any litter or other debris on the 3G surface, in the goal stores and in the spectator area

– Items of lost property should be handed to the bar or duty staff member

– Please ask one of our staff members for an induction prior to moving the goals/pitch divider net

– All the goals are wheeled. Goals MUST NOT be moved unless raised on to ALL of their wheels

– The goals MUST be moved by 4 persons

– At the end of your session, unless requested otherwise by the duty staff member or another user, please return all goals to their respective parking areas

Lighting

– The floodlighting system is automatic and will switch on/off as required

– The floodlighting system will switch off automatically at closing time.

First aid and accident reporting

– Eastwood CFC does not provide first aid facilities or access to the club’s telephone systems for emergency calls. You MUST ensure you have access to first aid support and the ability to call the emergency services if necessary

– A defibrillator is located on site – this is located behind the dugouts on the wall

– All accidents anywhere on the site MUST be reported to Eastwood CFC, as we may be required to report these to the Health and Safety Executive

– Report all accidents/incidents to the Eastwood CFC duty staff member or the lettings coordinator

Respect for other users and our neighbours

– Please respect other users by:

Prohibit the use of any language and/or behaviour that may be deemed profanity, racist, homophobic, sexist, bullying, lewd and/or inciting hatred
– Please also respect our neighbours by:

Leaving the site quickly and quietly, especially late at night
Keeping unnecessary noise to a minimum
– All hirers, their participants, spectators and/or visitors are expected to follow the FA’s Respect rules and guidelines

– Hirers who are including or involving persons under the age of 18 years of age or other vulnerable persons in their event, have a duty of care with respect to safeguarding.

Eastwood CFC needs to be provided a copy of the relevant safeguarding documentation
Defects, damage or other maintenance issues

Please report all defects, damage and/or other maintenance issues to the community football officer or staff member
Please report acts by any person of deliberate and/or wilful damage to any property on the Eastwood CFC site to the Eastwood CFC duty member of staff and/or the lettings coordinator
Any persons identified deliberately or wilfully damaging any property on site will be ejected, reported to the police and expected to pay the full amount incurred for any repairs and/or replacements
Breach of these rules

– Hirers are responsible for all persons, including spectators, involved with their letting and ensuring these rules are followed and enforced where necessary •

-Should any hirer, participant, spectator and/or visitor breach these rules, depending on the severity of the breach, Eastwood CFC and/or its appointed representative(s) reserve the right to:

Issue a verbal warning to individuals and/or the whole party associated with a letting
Issue a written warning to individuals and/or the whole party associated with a letting
Eject individuals and/or the whole party associated with a letting
Ban individuals and/or the whole party associated with a letting from the Long Eaton United Football Club site, either for a fixed period of time or permanently
Cancel any and/or all future lettings for a hirer or whole party
